What is a Micro Wedding?
A micro wedding is a small, intimate ceremony with no more than 50 people. Note: Currently, the Governor of Texas has mandated that gatherings are to be no more than 10, so those planning a wedding in Port Aransas should consider those restrictions when choosing their guest list.
Micro weddings can have all of the same festivities and traditions of a larger affair, but simply at a smaller scale.
Micro Wedding Venues on Port Aransas
Like a traditional wedding, you need to decide on the wedding venue first. In Port Aransas, you have a couple of options:
- You can rent a beach-front home or home with a dock and have your small ceremony (of 10 people or less) right on the sand (or dock) while the gentle Gulf waves loll in the background. You can then enjoy a catered reception back at your beach rental or opt for a sit-down restaurant option. For a casual welcome dinner or reception, you can reserve private tables for small groups at Port Aransas restaurants.
