Life in Paradise Vacation Rentals has partnered with VayKGear to make your Vacation a Breeze!

Life in Paradise Vacation Rentals is making your vacation even better and easier than it already is! You know best what you need for your stay whether it is beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cart or other things for adventures like bikes, boogie boards, or cornhole and more.


 
No Packing Required – Your beach gear is delivered the day you arrive and picked up on your departure date, meaning there is no packing needed by you! All you do after enjoying your gear, is to leave the items clean and where you found them upon arrival and the rest is taken care of by VayKGear.

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?


Reserve your stay in one of our properties for 3 – 21 days (not available for 22 or more days.)

Receive Your Beach Gear Confirmation
After Life in Paradise has confirmed your reservation, you will receive an email from VayKGear with your Dates and Property Name in the subject line. Open and click on the custom link in your email. Your reservation information will be pre-populated for you and you are all set to order gear for your vacation

Choose Your Gear
Whether you want bikes/baskets, beach chairs, cart, and umbrella or skim and body boards for the kid in all of you, VaykGear has you covered. Think of this as a one stop shop. If you have a larger group, you may order anything you'd like over your credit, you just pay the difference and everything gets delivered. It is so convenient and will make your vacation a breeze. You must order your gear online at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.

Gear Delivery
On the day of arrival, your gear will have been inspected and delivered to your vacation rental. You will receive a text when your gear has been delivered

Enjoy Your Gear
It’s your vacation and we want you to enjoy a headache-free stay. If there are any issues with any of your items during your stay, you just contact VayKGear Support and they will take wonderful care of you.

Prepare Your Beach Gear to Be Picked Up
Simply leave your gear clean and where you found it and VayK Gear does the rest. Gear is not charged for pickup day. Crews start bright and early at 6AM on departure day and they don't want to bother you as you are packing up so please leave gear in place the night before departure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I get my VayKGear Credits?
You will receive an email from VayKGear soon after Life in Paradise approves your reservation. There will be a link so you can look over your options, just remember you need to order 48 hours prior to your arrival. Best to order sooner than later as gear is subject to availability and delivery and late fees may apply.


Q: Can I change my beach gear selection after I order?
Absolutely! Please note: Selection changes made up to 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date are free of charge. Selection changes made after 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in date are subject to availability, a late fee, and delivery will be made on the next scheduled delivery day.


Q: If I don’t use all my credits can that be applied to my rental rate?
The beach gear credits from VayKGear are through them, not Life in Paradise. You don’t have to use it all, but it can only be applied toward gear, not for your stay.


Q: What if prior to 08/01/2022 I made a reservation for a vacation rental sometime between 03/1/2023 – 12/31/2023?
You will receive an email from VayKGear inviting you to take advantage of a special deal Life in Paradise has worked out for your stay.


Q: Can I pick up the Gear, so we have it when we arrive?
VayKGear makes your life easy by delivering and picking up your items. They will be delivered before 5pm on the day of arrival and picked up starting at 6am on the day of departure (no charge for that day). No need to waste precious luggage space for your trip or waste time to go and get the items.


Q: What if I didn’t receive or can’t find my custom link from VayK Gear?
No problem! Here is a link you can use: https://vaykgearforvrms.com/select/1004/ NOTE: Your reservation number will not auto-populate, so be prepared to enter that in.


Q: Are bike locks included?
Yes, there is one lock for every 2 bikes. Additional locks may be rented separately if desired.


Q: Can I attach kid trailers or baby carriers to the bikes?
Not at this time and VayKGear does not allow third party attachments.


Q: Do I need to be there for Drop-Off or Pick-Up
No and VaykGear sends a message when order has been delivered.


Q: Can I get damage protection on my gear?
Yes! “Gear Damage Protection” is just 8.9% of your gear order and is automatically selected for you at checkout. Click Here for full Equipment Terms for VayKGear.  NOTE: Does not cover lost or stolen gear.
