Q: Do all properties managed by Life In Paradise include VayKGear Credits?
Currently, all properties except for 3 or 4 properties are included in the program. Please see the property description to confirm that VayKGear is included with your selected property
Q: How do I get my VayKGear Credits?
You will receive an email from VayKGear soon after Life in Paradise approves your reservation. There will be a link so you can look over your options, just remember you need to order 48 hours prior to your arrival. Best to order sooner than later as gear is subject to availability and delivery and late fees may apply.
Q: Can I change my beach gear selection after I order?
Absolutely! Please note: Selection changes made up to 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date are free of charge. Selection changes made after 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in date are subject to availability, a late fee, and delivery will be made on the next scheduled delivery day.
Q: If I don’t use all my credits can that be applied to my rental rate?
The beach gear credits from VayKGear are through them, not Life in Paradise. You don’t have to use it all, but it can only be applied toward gear, not for your stay.
Q: What if prior to 08/01/2022 I made a reservation for a vacation rental sometime between 03/1/2023 – 12/31/2023?
You will receive an email from VayKGear inviting you to take advantage of a special deal Life in Paradise has worked out for your stay.
Q: Can I pick up the Gear, so we have it when we arrive?
VayKGear makes your life easy by delivering and picking up your items. They will be delivered before 5pm on the day of arrival and picked up starting at 6am on the day of departure (no charge for that day). No need to waste precious luggage space for your trip or waste time to go and get the items.
Q: What if I didn’t receive or can’t find my custom link from VayK Gear?
No problem! Here is a link you can use: https://vaykgearforvrms.com/select/1004/ NOTE: Your reservation number will not auto-populate, so be prepared to enter that in.
Q: Are bike locks included?
Yes, there is one lock for every 2 bikes. Additional locks may be rented separately if desired.
Q: Can I attach kid trailers or baby carriers to the bikes?
Not at this time and VayKGear does not allow third party attachments.
Q: Do I need to be there for Drop-Off or Pick-Up
No and VaykGear sends a message when order has been delivered.
Q: Can I get damage protection on my gear?
Yes! “Gear Damage Protection” is just 8.9% of your gear order and is automatically selected for you at checkout. Click Here for full Equipment Terms for VayKGear. NOTE: Does not cover lost or stolen gear.
