Located in the heart of Mustang Island, and just a couple minutes to the beach, our beautiful Port Aransas vacation homes are clean, bright and conveniently close to the very popular Winton's Candy Store. And you'll love the Station Street neighborhood. These spacious home rentals are perfect for families, small groups and especially for entertaining. Rent one of our homes and enjoy fantastic restaurants and locally owned shops. The homes feature a patio area leading to the community swimming pool and family recreation area. This is great for families, explorers, sightseeing and romance.

Sunshine's Cottage has whitewashed walls, natural wood ceilings, and concrete floors. Master bedroom (BR1) with a King downstairs with shower bath. There is a half bath downstairs too. Owners provide a coffee bar area for your enjoyment with a standard coffee maker. Upstairs there are two queen bedrooms (BR2) & (BR3) and a bunk room (BR4) with 2 sets of twin bunk beds and a futon, and bathroom with a tub and two sinks. Each bedroom has flat screen TV and DISH satellite. This home has family board games, puzzles, movies and a karaoke machine. Unit has a Weber charcoal grill for outdoor cooking. Relax under the Palapa next to walk-in pool.

Overall

The house had everything we needed and then some. It was very convenient with the pool and bbq pit. The only complaint is that someone had a dog that wouldn't stop barking, but that had nothing to do with the home. Plenty of space. Everything was just right

We totally enjoyed our stay once again. I would like to suggest that the condo have more Kitchen towels for washing and drying dishes, a vacuum to keep things a bit more tidy and i had to purchase a dust pan just to keep the condo swept clean of sand. House was great with a warm & inviting color theme & layout. Nice convenient location. Pool is definitely a plus with the hot summer weather. Few things need a little upkeep like the oven door, TV is bedroom yesterday (has no channels), ceiling fan in bunk bed room is very loud (seems un-level) but all in all it's a nice house and made for a very enjoyable family vacation.

This was the first time our family spent the Summer in Port A. We had a great time! Our rental was clean and had everything we needed. The pillows could be replaced in the bunkbed room but overall it was a great place to stay. We didn't use the pool because it was small and there were a lot of people, and due to Covid, we didn't comfortable using it at the time.

This place is perfect for a large family or group of friends! Very clean and well-appointed. Lots of room! Close to everything- beach, shops, food...It has a cool breezeway that’s great for chilling after a day of fishing or relaxing at the beach. Also, a nice beach entry pool when you need to cool off. I highly recommend staying here!

We’ve been coming to Port A for years. This was our first time to stay at this property and we were blown away! There is plenty of room for multiple families. The property is very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We enjoyed the beach entry pool and hanging out in the breezeway in the evenings. It is convenient to everything Port A has to offer. We highly recommend this property! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Port A - stop looking. This is the one you want!

Excellent experience- very clean, new appearing home wtih plenty of space for everyone. Thoughtfully provided games/DVDs for kids/adults. Very comfortable and well maintained property with a shared pool right outside the door.

Port A Vacay

This home was great for our group of 4 families! The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of linens. The space is comfy & roomy and the pool was a little small, depending on the crowd, but doable. We were super happy with the location as well.

The management company is not great! After our 1st night there we discovered a few things. 2 bedroom tv's did not work, one being the kids room and the dvd did not work either. Huge issue when you have 6 kids with you! Downstairs floors were filthy...our white socks and bare-feet were black in first nights time. There was grease and dirtiness on the kitchen cabinets. The smoke detector beeped all night. One lose potty in the master and live bugs through out the house. After a call to management company the next morning, they had plumber fix the potty. Exterminators came out and sprayed the living room only. TV's were not every fixed! DVD was not fixed! Explaination was given about how they clean...but that was all.

We have been using Life in Paradise for years. Great professional company. Rented a golf from them this year they delivered and picked up! Our property was perfect for our large group.

Very roomy well equipped cottage which was more than 2 of us required as we had no company. Sebastian was very accomodating to us. Unfortunately during high winds a palm branch fell off the tree that is beside the driveway and scratched the side of our vehicle. I did notice a large number of dead palm branches laying around the pool and the owner of Unit 1 filled the back of his truck with them and hauled them to the dump.

Spacious Rental a block from the beach!

Overall

Property was very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. It was very clean, well decorated and stocked with utensils, dish ware and toiletries. Rooms were spacious. We had no problem sleeping our family of 10. Really wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely book this property for any future vacations in Port Aransas.
