The Floppy Flounder is a new home conveniently located on 11th St., one minute from the beach. Perfect for a family vacation getaway with 4 bedrooms, and 3 full baths. The home next door, Tickle My FanSea, is available for rental as well for those needing more room. This home is adorned with elegant coastal decor throughout. The open and inviting living area is comprised of two large sofas and two accent chairs with plush pillows, all made for relaxing while watching a movie or your favorite sports team on the wall-mounted TV with Amazon Prime TV and Movies and Wi-Fi. Try out your culinary skills in the fully equipped kitchen with spacious high-end countertops, stainless steel appliances, dishes, a regular coffee maker, basic pots, pans and utensils. Savor your meals at the unique wooden dining table with seating for eight and an additional four at the bar. Take your morning coffee out onto the balcony and start the day off by taking in the sea breeze. The first guest bedroom (BR1) consists of a King bed, nightstands, closet, chest and wall-mounted TV. The hall bathroom is made up of a vanity and tub/shower. Guest bedroom (BR2) is furnished with a King size bed, nightstands, closet, chest and wall-mounted TV and an en-suite bathroom with a vanity and tub/shower. The kids will love the roomy area to play in the bunkroom (BR3) and the 2 sets of Twin Bunk beds, closet and wall-mounted Amazon Prime Smart TV. The master suite (BR4) contains a King bed, chest, wall-mounted TV and a desk for working remotely or distance learning assignments. The en-suite bathroom holds a double vanity and tub/shower. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi-connected Amazon Prime Equipped Smart TVs and rugs for softness and warmth on the feet. The full-size washer and dryer are tucked neatly in a hall closet for your personal use.
Take the family fun outback to the fenced-in yard and splash around in the brand new pool with water features and cool surround decking. Lounge beside it while catching some rays, start a competitive game of corn hole, cook up the days catch on the grill, or sit in the shaded outdoor living area with mood lighting while breathing in the ocean air. **The pool can be heated or cooled for the duration of your stay for $50.00 per day.**
There is also an array of child care items including a full-size crib, booster chairs, toddler utensils and family-friendly games.

BEST CHRISTMAS VACATION EVER!!!!!!

My family spent a week at The Floppy Flounder during Christmas 2022. We had a BLAST! The weather was chilly but we felt warm and cozy there. They literally think of everything you could ever want or need and provide it for you. My grandson is one and they had a crib and a highchair there! What a treat that we didn't have to pack that in addition to our luggage. They even think of beach towels that are separate from the bath towels.While we were all gathered in the living room on Christmas Eve we were able to grab the most comfortable muslin blankets from the storage ottoman and cuddle up together. They even have an assortment of games to choose from to pass the time. The decor is so gorgeous and was a perfect mix of home and beach vibe. They made it convenient to rent a golf cart and have it ready and waiting for us upon arrival. I love this listing so much, we will never stay anywhere else.Thank you for really thinking about what all families would desire and need. It's truly a joy to see proactive levels of service vs reactive. Not having to even ask for anything because they are mind readers was a huge stress relief! GO VISIT!!!!

This was my second time staying here and it was just as good as the first time! It’s just minutes from the beach and a golf cart is included with your stay which is super convenient. All the furniture is very comfortable and in great condition and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances, pots and pans and dishes that you may need. Can’t wait to stay there again next year!

What a great place to spend a long beach weekend! The house was perfect for our family-beautifully decorated, roomy and comfortable. The owners have taken great care to provide everything we needed for our stay. The pool was great, and it was just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back!

My recent stay at The Floppy Flounder was wonderful. It is centrally located and is equipped with terrific amenities. The owners obviously are professional, as their attention to detail, warmth, and comfort is systematic and thorough, and painstakingly complete! Added bonus is the secure fenced in yard and in ground pool. I highly recommend The Floppy Flounder!!!

I would give it 6 stars if I could. I travel frequently and The Floppy Flounder has far exceeded my high expectations. Its a spacious and comfortable oasis, with everything you could want/need. It is thoughtfully equipped, with extras like charging stations, night lights in the kids room,and gourmet kitchen appliances. Beautifully decorated inside and out. My 7 year old son loved the pool, especially the color changing lights. Lot of extras for kids too including toys like magnatiles, books, and also indoor and outdoor games. Location is perfect being so close to the beach and shopping/dining. Will definitely be returning in the future, its our new happy place.

What a great stay we had in Port A! This house was a perfect family vacation spot. A 5-minute walk to the beach, and a swimming pool out back made it work for everyone. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and the owners didn't miss a beat on furnishings. We were so impressed with their thoughtfulness and had everything we needed to cook and relax and enjoy our stay. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful place to stay: very clean; lots of space to move around and not feel crowded; attractive decorations; very comfortable beds; the delightful swimming pool out back that we enjoyed as an option to going to the beach; great sofas and chairs to lounge inside; close to the beach; and the best collection of silverware, pots, slow cookers etc that we had ever seen. We are Already planning to come back Next year.

My family and I needed a getaway and I’m so glad we decided to stay in Port Aransas! The kids enjoyed themselves, especially the private pool! The house was gorgeous inside and out and was very pleased with our overall stay! Definitely will be booking again soon!! NO COMPLAINTS.

Great Vacay Stay

My family and I traveled from San Antonio to Port A for a 50th birthday event and a 4th of July vacation. The pool was awesome! We loved the underwater lights and the peaceful waterfall. The distance to the beach was only 3 mins. The home was well equipped with towels, kitchenware, and a few BBQ accessories. The BBQ pit is small for the number of people that can stay at the home, so we went out and bought another one. The mattresses were a little too firm for some of us, but if you love a firm mattress, you will love the beds. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. There is a washer and dryer, but you will have to bring your own washing and cleaning supplies as there were none during our stay. There is a Dollar General not too far, about 3 mins from the home so that is a plus. The staff at "Life in Paradise Vacation Rentals" were also great! The customer service they gave us was outstanding. Kudos to them! Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Floppy Flounder and will most definitely stay again.
