American Summer is a great vacation destination to bring family and friends to create lasting memories. This home is located in town, just 0.8 miles to the beach, 0.4 miles to the nearest restaurant, shopping and nightlife. This stylish three-story home has an open concept with island décor carried throughout.
The detached apartment makes up the ground floor, great for those who need privacy. (* It is Not accessible to the other floors from the inside *)  The kitchenette is comprised of a fridge, sink, Keurig coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven. Snack around at the table with seating for four. Lounge around on the couch, which folds out to a sleeper,  and watch movies on the wall-mounted TV. There is a corner area perfect for applying makeup or working from home on your laptop. Rest in the bedroom (BR1) on the King size bed with nightstands and wall-mounted TV. The full bath contains a vanity and tiles shower. Use the gas grill to cook up a quick meal. Kids will love to run around and play in the large fenced-in backyard. Cool off after a day a the beach under the front covered patio area with seating made up of a picnic table and chairs. The outside stairwell leads up to the other two floors. The second floor boasts a kitchen-dining-living area and a bedroom. Prepare meals in the full kitchen equipped with crisp white cabinets and appliances, sleek countertops, both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. Dine at the modern table with seating for six and additional seating for four at the breakfast bar. Take your morning coffee out to the balcony to sit in the ocean breeze while witnessing Port A's beautiful sunrises. All can gather around the living area on the two couches, one makes into a sleeper,  with plush pillows while watching a movie on the large TV. The full bathroom serves this floor with a tiled vanity,  tub/shower unit and a full-size washer and dryer for your use during your stay. The guest room (BR2) is made up of two Twin over Twin bunk beds and a closet. Venture up the stairs to the third-floor master suite. There you will find a full bathroom with tiled vanity and a shower with a bench. The bedroom includes a King size bed, nightstands, closet and a wall-mounted TV.

my wife and I went to school at tamucc. So it is always good to come back to the coast. my family and I really enjoyed our stay. Only down side is we missed some March madness games because the TV and programs provided did not have the games. But we enjoyed the views from the balcony.

Our family had a great stay at American Summer. We're seasoned Port A visitors, having used vacation rentals for years to enjoy the beach and town. We tend to cook our own meals while on vacation and this rental was probably the most well-equipped we've seen. Everything you might have and use at home is there, plus several items that surprised us, including a blender and crock pot.The house is tastefully appointed and we felt immediately at home. The side deck on the second floor was perfectly situated to provide afternoon shade and we used it every day. We appreciated the high quality outdoor seating as well, and spent both mornings and evenings in the comfy chairs.The downstairs apartment also had great Adirondack-style chairs that we used daily.If you're looking for a spacious and well appointed vacation home in a great location, you'll appreciate American Summer!

This beach house was a perfect fit for my family of 6. It is conveniently located with easy access to the beach and town. Parking was a plus. We parked 3 vehicles and two golf carts with room to spare. Looking forward to staying here again!

We were originally in another rental and it was a disaster. No need to dwell on the issues there, but I contacted through the Air BNB app and they quickly moved us to another available property that was perfect! They were gracious and caring! That is hard to find these days! I will book through them every chance I have when going to Port A in the future!

Nice place to stay. Only had issues with the wifi which was fixed. I loved the two separate places that are both included in the price.
