This high-end home offers two living spaces, an apartment on the ground level, completely detached with a separate back entrance, and the main living on the second level.
The spacious second-level living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open to one another, offering a convivial hub for lively group camaraderie. Vaulted ceilings, large windows, and a whimsical coastal-inspired décor make the space airy and bright. Everyone can find a spot to relax in the large living room with plush seating. The modern kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Everything you may need for preparing meals and beach snacks is provided. The dining area includes a large farm table with bench seating for eight, plus seating for six at the large kitchen island. This floor also has two inviting master suites (BR1 & BR2), both featuring king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms with double vanities and tile showers with glass doors. The guest bedroom (BR3) has a queen-size bed with access to the shared bathroom across the hall with a granite vanity and tub/shower with glass enclosure. 
The ground-level one-bedroom apartment offers complete privacy away from the main living area; it has a separate bedroom (BR4) with a queen bed, a queen-size Murphy bed for additional guests in the living room, a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, microwave, and a full bathroom with granite vanity with tile shower and glass door. The shaded ground-floor patio includes a picnic table and an outdoor shower for a quick rinse after a day at the beach. The covered upstairs deck has ample space for outdoor entertaining; fire up the charcoal grill and enjoy a festive fresco barbecue. Feel free to pack light, a washer/dryer is provided for your convenience. The driveway has ample parking—bring along your personal watercraft, golf carts, or even a boat.

We loved the Royal retreat. Plenty of space for everyone. We really enjoyed the apartment downstairs for our little one. We were able to put him down for naps and bedtime without him be disturbed by the other kids still up running around.

I live in McAllen and my two brothers and 1st Cousin live in Houston Area. We don't see each other very often. (We are in our 70's) We try to get together at least once a year and the Royal Retreat turned out to be the perfect half way place to meet. The house was very nice, everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom which is important for old people and the golf cart made it easy for us to venture to the beach. The large living area was also ideal for meals and visiting. Awesome time, we will be back.

Not our first time in this home. Had a very nice stay in a wonderful home. There are a couple issues that could be fixed, but aren't a critical failure to any stay. The fan in the living room knocks like a metronome and makes it annoying to be in the living/kitchen/dining area. This was the case last time we stayed. Time to take action. Additionally, the bathroom flush in the master sounds like a ambulance siren that the entire floor can hear. Surely there's something that can be done on that issue. Finally, while never required, there's not a darned shrimp deveiner to be found on the whole island. That would have been a massive bonus. All in all, it's a wonderful house with a great air conditioner, good beds, and nice open space for groups (one of the few where 4 couples can stay). It won't be our last visit and is very close to a 5 star rating for us.

This was the he perf Ct size for my family. It was clean, had everything we needed, and had the extra benefit of a golf cart. I'll be staying here again!

We loved this home! Our adult family of 8 stayed here for 4 nights. Super comfortable and plenty of room (inside and out). The apartment downstairs was a perfect setup for our family as well. Love the golf cart too!!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Extremely clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Having the golf cart was a fun addition as well. Thank you for making my birthday weekend trip so pleasant!

Life in Paradise service was perfect couldn't ask for any better. This property on the other hand has several issues. The apartment on the lower level has an odor (smells like mold), horrible water pressure (so they had to shower up stairs, and the toilet doesn't appear to be secured to the ground (so 2 large black bugs were in this bathroom ALIVE)... You may want to bring these issues to the owners attention. Thank you again for working with me on the issues with the golf carts.

This place has so much space. A large deck from the second floor and a complete different living space downstairs. The dogs had room to do their business in the backyard but it was not so large that we couldn’t clean it quickly. We had plenty of room to put the hardtop to our Jeep under the deck and also have the Jeep, the Golf cart and the trailer for it all out of the weather as well . I will say it was more than walking distance from the beach and I like houses that have a beach view more, but it was larger than those places. It is next door to a cemetery and at first we were apprehensive but the only issues is curious teenagers later at night. But even that wasn’t a big deal. I would stay here again if the amount of people staying was right! Thank you!

It wasn't really a musty smell but it definitely wasn't fresh smelling. I went to the local Dollar General to get some air fresheners and Febreze and it did help. The downstairs unit had a stronger smell than the main part of the house. I do read comments on homes when I'm searching for a vacation rental so I'd like to suggest a few things on what to bring.-extra trash bags-extra paper towels-extra dish towels (there was only 1)-liquid hand soap (there was only bar soap)-bigger knives (I was trying to cut a watermelon with a small knife.)The Life in Paradise staff was very easy to work with and if I had a question, I'd just call them. The text messages they sent were all timely and very helpful in the check-in and checkout process! All in all, I'd stay here again! It was a very nice vacation for our family!

The house was amazing to have for our family! The moment you walk in, the house puts you instantly in vacation mode. It was so clean and inviting. The proximity to the beach and town was perfect for golf cart rides! We were able to check out our golf cart early as we got their earlier than expected. Overall, the experience was amazing and we’d book again through Life in Paradise.

We loved our stay at this lovely home! Our group of two families with teen kids and their respective friends had plenty of room to spread out. View from the second floor balcony is of the ship channel...we watched lots of interesting ships come in and out. A few days, we could hear the ocean!! Will be back!

Perfect double family accommodation on split level property. Moments from the beach with easy access to local amenities/stores. Quality appliances. Contemporary furnishings with bright inviting decor made this an extremely comfortable and relaxing vacation property.

I stayed here with family for our vacation. Very spacious, and very close to the beach. Love the fact that we had access to the closets and internet. Love the fact that the beds were king and queen. We had a blast and would definitely recommend to other members of our family and friends. I would definitely book here again.

This was my first visit to Port Aransas and house rental as well. After a seven hour drive it was so relieving where we were staying was ready and waiting for us. This house was so beautiful and so accommodating for our family. This special time of remembering our brothers passing will have lots of great memories.

Spent a great weekend with the grown up kids. Plenty of room for everybody to spread out and come together. House seems almost brand new. We loved the private apartment downstairs! Will definitely be back!
