Loved the location. It only took a 60 second golf cart ride through the neighborhood and down the boardwalk to get to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, fun location. I was worried about the AC. ..lots of reviews mentioned it was inadequate. We didnt find that at all. The house was always nice and cool, despite the hot weather (in August). We will definitely be back!!

Thank you for the great review! We're glad the neighborhood gave you the quiet you were after, and that the 60-second golf cart ride down the boardwalk made getting to the beach so easy.
We also appreciate you mentioning the AC. It's good to hear the house stayed nice and cool through the August heat, and that any concerns from past reviews didn't hold true for your stay.
We'll be ready to welcome you back to Port Aransas whenever your next trip comes around.

We loved the home and being in our late 70’s we used the elevator frequently. The perk of having a golf cart readily available was wonderful. The only complaint we had was the stickers that had been tracked in and imbedded in the 2nd floor floor coverings. Not the fault of the owners but those renting should take care to check their shoes before entering. We would definitely recommend the home for any future renters. It really has everything you could ask for.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad you loved the home and found the elevator convenient—it’s great to hear it made your stay even more comfortable. Having a golf cart readily available sounds like a fantastic perk as well! We appreciate your note about the stickers and your reminder for renters to check their shoes—it’s a helpful tip for everyone. Thank you for recommending the home, and we’re thrilled it had everything you could ask for. We hope to welcome you back in the future!

We all enjoyed the house. Scooby Dunes fit all our needs. There was enough space for everyone. The convience of being close to the beach and having the golf cart made our stay even more enjoyable. There are some things that need to be addressed with the house. The blankets need to be washed on a regular basis so that they do not smell. Also, the bath tub needs hand rails. My elderly parents were with us and it was hard for them to get in and out of the shower and tub. Also, the sofa needs to be deep cleaned very badly. The closet door and bedroom door handles need to be fixed. They closet door fell off the track and handles on the bedroom downstairs with the queen bed fell off. We would rent the house again.Thank you for making our vacation a memorable one.
