Really nice home with a pool plenty of space for the family! pool to tire out the kids or just relax after the kids knock out. great location walking distance from the swing bar for a drink, close enough to walk to the gas station for any emergency necessity. clean house nicely decorated with room so everyone has their own space. Will be back in the future already making plans for our next family vacation

Thank you so much for this wonderful review — it truly made our day! We're delighted the home gave your whole family plenty of room to spread out, with space for everyone to call their own. And that pool? We love that it did double duty — tiring out the kids and giving the grown-ups a peaceful spot to unwind once they crashed!
It also warms our hearts to hear the location worked so well for you. There's something special about being just a stroll away from the swing bar for a drink, with the gas station close by for those little just-in-case moments. Knowing the house felt clean, nicely decorated, and welcoming means the world to us.
Most exciting of all? Hearing that you're already making plans for your next family getaway! That's the greatest compliment we could ask for. It would be an absolute joy to welcome you and your family back — see you next time!   -Life in Paradise Team

It was such a great experience! The house was very clean and cozy upon arrival! It is a very short drive to the beach and is walking distance from the center of the town. The private pool is the best and was so nice after the beach. I definitely recommend staying here!

We had the best week at the blue pelican. The house is decorated so cute. The beds are so comfortable. We loved sitting on the front porch in the oversized chairs. In the back of the house you have your own little tiki bar and pool which we used everyday. We loved having an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. We rented a golf cart and absolutely loved that you could go almost anywhere in town with it. Some of our favorite stops during the week included- the island bakery, Mac daddy’s for bbq, the bierhouse, the gaft for pizza, island creamery, and the swing bar which is right across the street from the house. You have to go to the bird sanctuary- we went daily, while you are there look for boots the alligator!! The beach was so easy to get to and so beautiful. We loved feeding the seagulls. We did a dolphin cruise and a fishing trip with woodys last stand and they were awesome. We also spent a lot of morning walking around Robert point park and the marina. You can see dolphins all the time!! This house was so close to everything and felt like home away from home!! Port A was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back!

There were 6 adults, 2 five year olds and a dog in this charming beach house…we had plenty of space and the large eating areas and delightful pool and back porch area were wonderful…it's an older beach home so don't expect perfection but it was homey and great for our needs. We will most likely come back and hope to book this same place. Very close to beach, shops and activities.

The setup was very nice. We loved the bedrooms being at the corners of the house. Generous living space. The backyard was fantastic. We loved the seating options, the lights in the pool and strung around in the evenings. Modern appliances and everyone enjoyed the showers. You can also walk 20ft out the front door and have beers at a cute little bar. We loved this place and will return.

Loved the decor, I personally think it should be for a maximum of 8ppl and that's still pushing it with only 2 baths and limited towels. Take your own pool towels, they're not provided. There's wood rot in places, very little storage space in the kitchen. But the location, the service, and the fun we had there I highly recommend it for no more than 6 people. Thank you!

We spent about 3 nights at the Blue Pelican and it was great! Tons of sleeping room and the beds were super comfy! The new décor was so cute and beachy, it was a great get-a-way. We loved how close it was to everything in the heart Port A. Short walk to the beach and we loved the coffee shop right around the corner and also the Beer Hut right across the street! We spent 2 nights at the blue pelican and I can tell you it was not long enough. This place invites relaxation. The Blue Pelican is so convenient to most of what Port Aransas has to offer. A short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, night life, fishing, etc. And the attention to detail and decor the Blue Pelican will make you feel cozy and at home. I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends!
