This large, unique 3 bedroom beach home has an open floor plan with coastal chic decor inside and Gulf views from the back deck. Located in the La Playa neighborhood of Port Aransas, one of the closest neighborhoods to the beach, with private boardwalk.

Never miss out on a conversation while gathering in this expansive living room/ dining/ kitchen setting with grand ceilings. Watch your favorite movies on the TV with cable and Wifi from the plush sectional, couch which converts to a sleeper or a chair. The full kitchen is complete with tile counter tops, updated white appliances, both a regular coffee maker and Keurig, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils to prepare family meals. Dine at the table with seating for eight. There is additional seating for two at the bar. Curl up and read a book in the quiet sitting area off of the living room or utilize the desk for distance learning and checking in on work from home. The guest bedroom (BR1) has a Queen bed, closet and chest for your beach attire. The hall bath is appointed with a vanity and corner shower with glass door. The master bedroom (BR2) is equipped with a King bed, TV and closet. The en-suite bathroom provides a vanity and tub/shower. The upstairs area is perfect for kids (BR3) furnished with 2 Twin beds, 1 Full Bed, TV, chest, a closet and plenty of floor space to play. The en-suite bathroom is supplied with a vanity and shower. Sip your morning coffee on the back, L-shaped deck and take in the Gulf view and breeze. After a day of fishing, cook up your catch on the charcoal grill below. The beach is a short walk by way of the private neighborhood boardwalk over the dunes. Pack your bag, load up the family and come play where lasting memories are made.

We had a wonderful stay at LP12 La Playa. We love the location of the house, how comfortable it was and the heated pool :). Every time we contacted Life in Paradise they responded quickly and kindly! They worked hard to make sure our stay was fantastic, thank you LIP we will definitely be booking with ya'll again!

Perfect Getaway

We were headed to Florida but Ian changed our minds, so we decided to head to our Happy Place. Our normal place was booked so I chose 12 La Playa and was pleasantly surprised at the space, the pool, the golf cart (included) and all of the special little touches even for our 4 legged babies. Absolutely loved being able to walk and see every sunrise at the beach. It was perfect. Thank you!

What a wonderful place to stay!!!! Cute cozy cottage decor with amazing Gulf view!!! This house is located very close to the boardwalk with a very short distance to the beach. I would definitely recommend this house and Life In Paradise staff was outstanding. Cleaning staff did a fantastic job!!!

I didn't get an opportunity to write in the guest book so I am glad for this time to reflect. During our stay we had a family reunion and occupied three guest houses. All three houses were a perfect fit for each family. Specifically, the Queen Anne for us could not have been more beautiful and accommodating. It was so clean and fully furnished with games, toys, kitchen ware, bathroom supplies and anything we would need. The decor of this home was amazing and the beds were so comfortable. Thank you for making our family reunion perfect.

Experience was great from booking through check-out. Clear communication for arrival and departure, nice amenities (shampoo and conditioner! plenty of towels! coffee filters!), great house. Loved the living area--so many areas to sit in, and a pretty big kitchen as well. The location was awesome--we LOVED being able to walk to the beach, instead of having to drive. Would absolutely rent this very same house again.

3 Bedroom house in great location

Located in a small enclave of homes. First floor consisted of the garage & utility room. 2nd Floor consisted of kitchen, living room, breakfast room, full bath #2, master bedroom (en suite Full bath #1/master bath), Bedroom #2 (w/“Relax” sign above it), and wrap around deck. Third floor was more of a loft area with 3 twin beds and an en suite full bathroom. Location was close to beach. Stayed during COVID quarantine so there was a time period where Vehicles (including golf carts) were not allowed on beach so this house’s location would have been perfect. You could walk to the beach by accessing the private bridge/boardwalk. Beach views /ocean views available when sitting on back wrap-around porch. The 3rd floor loft/bedroom had a TV and some kids’ toys & crayons. It was the perfect rental home for our family with 3 boys (between 6-8yrs old).the only negative I found was that the kitchen didn’t have much pantry space but that’s really nitpicking. Everything was a great size. We’ll be staying here again in the future.

Our family of 3 absolutely loved our stay in Port A and the 12 La Playa villa that we rented. The property was spacious, clean, and well-outfitted. We even felt comfortable bringing our 5 month old puppy with us as the floors were all terracotta tile and it was easy to clean the sand off all of us with convenient outdoor shower. Check-in and out was super easy thanks to the online authorization. The only aspect of the property that could use some attention is the outer decking where the would deck and stairs is getting VERY weathered, to the point that bare feet are not recommended. We rented a golf cart from Life in Paradise for a day and even rolled through the Domino's drive-thru to pick up our pizzas to take them home after a day on the beach. Overall, it was a stellar vacation for us and the first time we ventured out since COVID hit in March. We felt safe and comfortable thanks to the wonderful accommodation and the miles of beach right outside our door. Thank you. We will visit again!

We decided on this trip pretty last minute, so we were happy to find a house within easy walking distance to the beach. The boardwalk is very close and convenient and looks new. You're not allowed to park on the street in the neighborhood, but we managed to fit two trucks and a car on the property. The house seemed basically clean (no insects!!!). There were some stains on the master bedroom and bathroom rugs and the couches, but that's to be expected in a pet-friendly rental. Plenty of places to sleep and lots of seating in the living room to relax. The beds were firm, but very comfortable. We slept great!!! The upstairs is a little warm, but some box fans were provided which made a big difference. There are three TV's and two Roku's, if you want some indoor entertainment. There is also a washer and a dryer in the garage (we didn't use them). Dining room table seats six with two nice bar stools at the counter. The only thing I would change about this place is to update the pots and pans, and especially the skillets. They were very old and many were not in good shape. Made cooking for a crowd a bit of a challenge. Also, providing some more dish towels would be great. Two just were not cutting it.Overall, this was probably our favorite trip to Port Aransas. It was great to get away and just have some fun. We really enjoyed the house and would totally stay here again.

We really enjoyed the house which was well supplied with plenty of room. A bit of caution is the neighborhood is tight and you are at the mercy of you neighbors, especially across the street. We were unlucky as they were 24/7 parties and the house next door had 4 dogs who barked all night...sleep was not an option. If you get lucky with your neighbors this is a great property!

A group of 7 of us stayed at this house for a weekend and it couldn't have been better! With a group of girls this large, having three full bathrooms with showers was a big hit. The house was big enough that we could space out well if we needed to, and the seating areas were big enough that we could all relax together as well. The large space made it to where we could be cooking in the kitchen and not wake anyone up that was sleeping, which was also important! The kitchen was fully furnished with utensils and cookware, which was handy when we came from out of state. The walk to the beach was just short enough that we didn't mind it either! And the location on the beach was perfect.

Check in was easy and we were able to get in a little early. Very clean and perfect location with an easy walk to the beach. With 4 boys ages 5&7 it was nice to be able to go back to the house without hopping in a vehicle. Only thing I would ask they improve is the deck. It’s worn and we had a couple issues with rusty nails - we just grabbed a rug and put it over the spots. Other than that I would highly recommend staying here. I also liked having the app because it had all the info we needed.

Great location, dirty interior

What a nice location, a fun walk over the boardwalk to the beach, a very quick drive with your beach things, close to town but secluded. And how nice to bring your pups ( for a fee of course). However the home itself desperately needs the attention of an adequate cleaner. There was a massive amount of dog hair & fur under the furniture & in the air return. Other than that there is an AC problem upstairs & the temp has to be lowered overall to keep it bearable for sleeping. Be careful going barefoot on the deck you might get a splinter and make sure your pups don’t walk in the “grass” it’s full of grass burrs. Be careful of backing a pickup into the carport the loose white rocks tend to get thrown & they could cause a mess or injury. It’s better to park your pickup in front of the house. We had a good time but did exercise some deep cleaning with a broom.

Easy reservation. Quick responses from personnel. Great location, close to board walk. They delivered golf carts to our door. Very helpful with any questions we had by phone or text. Upstairs was pretty hot during the day, and refrigerator stunk like fish. Otherwise a great place to stay.

The houses were great. However, we were not provided the paper goods that were promised or the grill that was promised. The floors were disgusting, definitely not cleaned at all. Everything else okay.

The grill is located on the small concrete patio on the bottom. We do clean the floors, but with the house being so close to the beach, every time the doors are opened sand blows in. We are a family that comes to PA every year and have for well over 30 yrs. We usually stay in a condo but our favorite one has not reopened since Harvey. We decided to rent a house and Life in Paradise was recommended to us as a good company to work with. We were more than pleased with the property and the rental company. We will rent with them again. Next time we might get in a house with pool in the complex. We did miss that but the beach access was excellent. We had our adult sons and a daughter-n-law with us and the house was large and very comfortable. Loved the deck mornings and evenings!

Mostly an excellent stay. Evidence of repairs from hurricane damage, but could have used more. Deck needs work. Mattresses werent comfortable. Stove should probably be replaced. Burners didnt fit right. However, 7 of us were comfortable and enjoyed the house. Short walk on repaired boardwalk to one of the best beaches Ive ever seen.

Nice to be able to hear the surf rolling in. The walkway to the beach is brand new. Good internet wifi, and nice new tv with Directv service. Plenty of room, with big open concept. We're coming back next year.

It has a large living-dining room with two large sleeper couches and other seating,and a desk. The wifi works well and the TV has enough channels to keep the family happy. The Mexican tile floors are worry free if sand is brought in and easy to maintain. Over all this is a very quiet location 5 minutes walk to the beach. Once on the beach you can walk miles in rather direction and see and do many interesting. The surf is safe for the family and the sand beach is 100 feet or so wide, and you can fish of the beach or off a pier or of the famous rock jetty just 2 miles away.

Memorial Weekend

Perfect space for my group! Open floorplan on the main floor with plenty of space to spread out. Great view from the patio. We loved being able to walk to the beach and took full advantage of this. We also really enjoyed the full kitchen, we didn't have to go out to eat once while there because we cooked all of our own meals.

It was great,just steps from the beach and no hassle,would definitely rent again,if your looking for a great getaway with nobody to disturb you, this is the place

Winter rental 12 La playa

Overall

Second year here and really enjoyed it. Close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Off the main streets that gives a little privacy. The house was clean and spacious with a great view of the ocean off the deck. We were able to accommodate surprise guests that came down for a long weekend. We would love to rent for 2017 but it is already taken. We will be back hopefully in 2018.

Close to the beach!

Great location, steps from the beach. The house is perfect for a large family, plents of beds, three full bathrooms, beach view. The only complaint is the house could use some tlc. Would like it to have a fresh coat of paint inside and replace the furniture. Some of the appliances need attention. Overall a great place to stay.

Nice and close to the beach

Overall

we really enjoyed this place. It is literally 100 yards from the beach. The common area easily accommodated 7 people. The deck has a nice view and the master is really nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, Quiet and Near the Beach!

It was a crowded Memorial Day weekend and the houses are somewhat close together but we had no issues with privacy and quiet. The house is spacious and clean and kitchen is well furbished. My only gripe and it's pretty petty is the little teeny soaps in the bathrooms and as another guest mentioned, the white rocks that you have to walk over are a nuisance but we got used to them.

Good House for a Great Price

The house was exactly what I was looking for. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars all the way through was because it was as expected and it didn't exceed my expectations. The inside was very spacious and clean.

We had a good stay with plenty to do in Port Aransas.
Home has a great location with a view.
They need to fix the two main burners on the stove top otherwise a nice vacation rental, we would rent this home again.

Nice digs

We had a small group of friends join us and the accomodations were perfect for our needs. There is a nice boardwalk a few houses away that leads to the beach and a view of the ocean from the deck. The only real issue for us were the white rocks you have to walk on to get from the house to the street. My car almost got stuck in them as well.

We spent Jan/Feb 2014 at this rental. We love Port Aransas! This was our first time to the island and we love the community.

As for the house, the space is wonderful, including great living room furniture and master bedroom mattress. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach--4 times per day because of two dachshunds.

The only downside is the interior needs paint, new carpeting in the upstairs bedroom, paint exterior doors, and maybe new stove burners and drip plates--it needs \"staging\". The most negative to us are the pavers outside and is the reason we did not rebook at this location for next year. If they replace the pavers with cement, we would be back! Did I mention we love Port Aransas!!
