Popo Palms is a second-floor condo located in Island Retreat, just off of 11th St. This complex offers shared pools, boardwalks over the dunes to the beach, a laundry facility on the premises that is open during the day and closed at night, communal grills, picnic tables and a tennis court. This newly remodeled home is great for a family getaway or a fun weekend with friends. The living area holds a couch, two matching armchairs and a wall-mounted TV for gathering and watching movies. There is a corner area with chairs to curl up and read a book by the large window for those who need some downtime. The kitchen is equipped with all things needed to prepare meals with such as granite countertops, white appliances, both a pod and drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. There is plenty of room for all to dine at the table with seating for six and four additional stools at the breakfast bar. Sip your morning coffee on the balcony while taking in the Gulf views and ocean breeze. Kids will love stretching out to play, watching movies on the wall-mounted TV and sleeping in the bunk room (BR1) made up of a Twin over Full bunk bed and a single Queen bed, a nightstand, chest and a closet. The guest bedroom (BR2) contains a Queen bed, nightstands and closet. These two bedrooms share a hall bathroom appointed with a double vanity and a tiled tub/shower. The master bedroom (BR3) contains a King bed, nightstands, closet, chest and a wall-mounted TV. The second bathroom sits at the end of the hallway complete with a vanity and a tiled shower with a sliding glass door enclosure. Take advantage of the boardwalk to the beach over the dunes which is just steps away from the unit or cool off after a day at the beach in the shared pool. Located near downtown Port Aransas, you have easy access to the golf course, shopping, restaurants, nightlife and entertainment. Bring the family for a vacation to remember to Popo Palms.
Extra added amenities for this unit include: a hairdryer, blender, griddle, popcorn maker, waffle maker and a hand mixer.

This is a spacious, clean, well equipped ocean front condo that was perfect for our family. We enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony while watching the sun come up over the beach. The spacious living/dining area and kitchen were perfect for family meals in the evening. Easy beach access via the boardwalk and great in town location make this unit a winner!

We really enjoyed everything! We were further from beach than expected and the view was not so great but we made it work! When service was called, they came quickly to fix the problem! We will recommend and return again!

My family and I booked a 3 bedroom condo. We loved it! Each room was big. The beds were comfortable. The condo was very clean. We appreciated all the cooking supplies/utensils. And it was a very short walk to the beach. We will definitely look at this location again for future Port A trips.

The maintenance man was very prompt on Friday evening to fix our air conditioner however, it was very warm in the condo for several hours as it took two times to get it fixed and a little longer for it to cool down. didn't actually get to bed until almost 1:00 AM. Other than that, we really enjoy 63 and 64

I'm so glad I chose Popo Palms. It accommodated our family of 8 perfectly with the sleeping arrangement. The twin over full for the grandkids while the queen next to it for their parents provided a setup better than a hotel. Everything is exactly as the pictures, plus the amenities/supplies are abundant. The balcony and all 3 bedrooms have a water view, plus view of the open space, pool and boardwalk. This unit was one of cleanest in our 40+years of beach rentals, from TX and all along the east coast. The VayK Gear credit was a wonderful treat! Easiest check in and out. Will definitely stay here again!

Overall

Great location that's walking distance to the beach. Nice views of the courtyard and ocean beyond. The courtyard has picnic tables, grills, basketball and volleyball courts and a large pool that's open late. Condo was clean and well maintained. The a/c in the master bedroom is a bit noisy. Easy check-in and out.
