This remodeled 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo in Port Aransas, Texas can host 6 and contains a washer and dryer inside. The full kitchen has ample counter space to prepare meals and is equipped with a regular drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. Sit down for dinner at the dining table with seating for four and additional stools that can be pulled up to the breakfast bar or utilize the TV trays in the living room. The living room contains a sofa and three chairs so everyone can see the large flatscreen TV sitting atop the gas fireplace.  Retreat to the master bedroom (BR1), which holds a King-size bed with a quaint white wicker headboard, matching furniture and a desk that could be used for working from home. A flat-screen TV and bookshelf can keep you entertained as you relax in the blue hues of this space. The attached full bathroom includes a vanity, hairdryer, walk-in shower and stackable washer and dryer. The second bedroom (BR2) is comprised of two Full-sized beds and more, white wicker to feel the beach inside as well as a desk. The colorful paisley bedspreads will brighten any day. The second full bathroom is made up of a vanity and a tub/shower with a detachable showerhead to rinse off the sand from anywhere. The back patio is furnished with a tall table and chairs to see the shared amenities over the railing, enjoy your morning coffee, the Gulf breezes and a glimpse of the ocean. Amenities included: TV, wireless internet, access to charcoal BBQ pits and picnic areas, laundry facilities, 2 boardwalks to the beach, 2 shared pools. Located near downtown Port Aransas, you have easy access to the golf course, shopping, restaurants, and beach access with walkways over the dunes.

We had a wonderful post Labor Day stay at Island Retreat. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The grounds were clean, landscaped and well maintained. the huge pool was pristine and refreshing. All pool furniture was clean and in excellent condition. Our condo was clean & ready for us to enjoy. For our condo to be on the upper price range for a 2 bedroom it does need some updating. We look forward to our next visit to island Retreat!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo and facility. Everything was clean, well stocked and check in was a breeze. Location of condo was excellent with poolside view. I loved that you had a washer/dryer in the unit because it was so convenient. We added a fly swatter to be used by future guests. I have two suggestions: The master bathroom shower was having an issue with the hot water valve. The washer, handle or both needed repairing or replacing because water did not flow out the shower head with adequate pressure instead it leak from the turn on spigot/handle. Additionally, the master bed mattress was not uncomfortable, however you do roll to the outside of the mattress. A replacement at some point may be warranted.

Everything was great. We are a group of female veterans that served together. We meet up once a year to relax and enjoy each other's company. It was very relaxing and so comfortable. The staff was excellent.

PERFECT!!! CONDO WAS PERFECT!! AS A LONG TIME TRAVELER TO PORT A, I USED TO STAY AT THE ISLAND RETREAT WITH MY FOLKS AS A CHILD AND INTO MY LATE TEENAGE YEARS, SO VERY COMFORTING AND RELAXING! STAFF / SECURITY WAS GREAT MADE ALL FEEL SAFE!

The accommodations were fantastic!!! We super enjoyed how clean and accessible everything was. The only thing I would change is asking in advance how many vehicle passes are needed. The office was closed on Sunday and I worried about a vehicle getting towed all evening till the office opened the next day. Otherwise great!! Booking here again next year :)

Loved the well-appointed condominium. Many amenities not usually seen such as mixer, crockpot, coffee grinder. Bright and cheerful decor. Steps to the boardwalk to the beach, and overlooking the pool. We loved it.
