The unit was nicely updated with nice appliances and all the kitchen equipment needed for cooking meals. Great location close to the pool and direct access boardwalk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Thank you for the great review! We're so glad the updated unit stood out, and that the modern appliances and fully equipped kitchen made cooking your own meals easy and enjoyable. Having what you need to feel right at home is exactly what we hope for.
It's wonderful to hear the location worked so well too, with the pool close by and direct boardwalk access straight to the beach. Those little conveniences really do make a getaway feel effortless.
Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we'd love to welcome you back to Port Aransas whenever your next trip comes around.

The condo was well-appointed. Everything you might need in the kitchen, 3 very comfortable bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The condo looks to have been recently renovated and the art work was impressive! Someone took their time choosing the art! The back porch was nice in that you could exit the gate on the porch to go right to the pool. Island Retreat is a special place for me and my friends.

Thank you for your lovely review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the well-appointed condo, complete with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and updated bathrooms. It’s wonderful that the recent renovations and thoughtfully chosen artwork made an impression—attention to detail truly makes a difference! The convenience of the back porch leading directly to the pool sounds like a fantastic perk. We’re so glad Island Retreat holds a special place for you and your friends, and we’d love to host you again soon! -Life in Paradise Team

Overall

The place was so close to the beach boardwalk and next door to the pool. Very clean and comfortable . Loved the decor. We traveled at the end of September so it wasn’t 110 outside! We ate at the seafood and spaghetti works and the Tortuga. We shopped at gratitude and the connesuier . Definitely booking this place next year. It was just 3 of us and we all Had our bedroom. The pictures on the site do not do the place justice. The whole community was quiet and private . Electric stove and appliances worked great. Enjoyed the wine cooler too!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful experience with us! It’s heartening to hear that you enjoyed our serene location, just steps away from the beach boardwalk and next to the pool. I'm thrilled to know the cleanliness, comfort, and decor of our place met your expectations.
Traveling at the end of September sounds perfect, especially when the weather is more pleasant. It’s fantastic that you got to explore local dining spots like Seafood and Spaghetti Works and Tortuga, as well as shop at Gratitude and The Connoisseur. These places truly add to the charm of our community.
Your kind words about the quiet and private ambiance, the functionality of the electric stove and appliances, and the added touch of the wine cooler are deeply appreciated. We strive to create a home-away-from-home feel for all our guests, and your feedback validates our efforts.
We’re honored that you’re considering booking with us again next year. Knowing that the pictures on our site do not fully capture the beauty of our place, we’re delighted that you found it even better in person.
Thank you once again for your glowing review. We look forward to welcoming you back and providing another memorable stay for you and your loved ones.
Warm regards,
