Welcome to your dream beach vacation in this second-floor condo that sleeps eight. Can you count all the fish in the place? The bright kitchen has all the black/stainless-steel appliances you need to enjoy your stay, drip coffee maker, plus dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. This island bar has seating for three on stools. Past the bar, a dining table accommodates six, with plenty of room for a leisurely meal or a game of cards. In the living room, a couch, three chairs, and a recliner give plenty of space for everyone to gather and watch the flat-screen TV. There are side tables and lamps around the room to make the perfect ambiance. Step out onto the private balcony for views of the rolling dunes and the Gulf water. Catch the sea breezes while you sip your coffee or relax in the evening. Borrow a book from our shelves for some quiet time. Back inside, the master bedroom (BR1) contains a King-sized bed ready for your comfort in gorgeous bedding with blue flowers. A flat-screen TV sits on the chest. The large windows show you views of the Gulf from the bed. An attached full bathroom sparkles with extra counter space for getting ready with a tub/shower. There is also a hallway to this bathroom as well. The second bedroom (BR2) has a Queen-sized bed in relaxing bedding with starfish and seashells. There is a chair and nightstands to give you more space. Beautiful art brings the ocean inside all around you. The third bedroom (BR3) holds four twin-sized bunk beds, two desks, and another flat-screen TV perfect for bedtime. The second bathroom is bright with natural light from the window and a coral reef scene on the shower curtain to the tub/shower. There is a stackable washer/dryer tucked neatly in the hallway for use during your stay. Amenities included: TV, Wi-Fi, access to charcoal BBQ pits and picnic areas, laundry facilities, 2 boardwalks to the beach, 2 shared community pools.

We had a girls weekend for my mom’s 85th birthday. The unit had everything we needed including a wonderful sunrise view. It was clean and well stocked and was perfect for our needs. My mom particularly loved the window seat in her bedroom and the balcony patio which was a great place for morning coffee and evening wind downs.

I treated a few of my employees to a weekend getaway at The Island Retreat Resort! We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and absolutely loved our condo. Loved our condo rental. It was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and rental instructions were easy to follow. Will stay again! The only recommendation is to replace the flat, old pillows on both the King and Queen beds.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed sitting on the deck and relaxing after being at the beach. We were able to see the ocean and hear it from the deck. Our daughters enjoyed the pools and other activities the property offered. We appreciated the parking offered for golf carts.

Whenever we go to Port A, we always stay at Island Retreat. IR 24 is incredible. The views from the back porch are some of the best in the complex. The condo itself is spacious, clean, beautifully updated, well-appointed, and perfect for a family like ours. It even has a washer and dryer! The owners have put in a lot of work on their condo - and it shows. The management company has also put in a lot of work on the grounds since we visited last summer. They look better and more inviting than ever! If you're looking for a short walk to the beach, a wonderful pool for kids to swim and play, and a relaxing and unpretentious place to stay for the perfect vacation in Port A, look no further than Island Retreat!

Island Retreat 24 has been our favorite stay at Island Retreat so far! The condo was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully updated. And the view of the Gulf is incredible! After mornings on the beach, we would sit on the porch and take in the views. We can't wait for our next stay. Island Retreat is definitely the place to stay in Port A.

The best condo in island retreat

When we opened the front door of the condo was just amazing feeling. We feel comfortable in a vacation house. We love the combination of different tropical colors and art design. It was very cold when we enter the unit so it’s refreshing. I love the view from the master bedroom looking to the ocean. We can’t wait to be in this unit again next year as we planned on visiting every year.

All of us were in awe of how beautiful the inside of this condo is. Everything fit perfectly. The ease of the pool and grilling made for a wonderful stay. The boardwalk was such an easy walk and the beach in this area was very nice. We had a blast and will come back again. Thank you

The condo was perfect for our family. Lots of towels, blankets, dishes, and even a washer and dryer. The view was amazing! Everything was clean and the air conditioning was cool. We would highly recommend staying here. The beach access was a big plus.

We have waited six years to rent this unit, and the wait was worth it. The condo is clean, perfectly decorated, equipped with everything needed, and we LOVE the view. Looking forward to our next stay!

The actual condo was perfect for our stay. Photos did not disappoint. It was neat, organized, well stocked. Comfortable beds.... plenty of blankets, extra pillows and towels. Just remember to bring your own beach towels. Well decorated and modern interior! Check in went well.
HOWEVER, there was a leak under the kitchen sink which was reported immediately upon discovering. Also reported that the refrig. ice-maker wasn't working. When no maintenance showed up that afternoon, it was reported again. The phone service (mgmt company) brushed me off, stating they were 'busy checking-in incoming guests'; that it HAD been reported. Only to find out on our last day (day 3) that this never happened, and the resident on the ground level below us had a \"major\" flooding issue. We were repeat guests, yet I'm not sure we will return again. The phone contact person told me he would check on some future compensation for us for this inconvenience, but to date, no one has gotten back to us.
