Escape to our fun, Port Aransas retreat, ideally located a short stroll on the boardwalk to the beach. Our newly-renovated bottom-floor studio condo offers a warm atmosphere. We’ve recently redone the entire condo, including all new appliances. This new efficiency studio condo has a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal, make coffee with the Keurig or make snacks for the beach. The living area features ample seating and a flat-screen TV. With two Queen size beds, we can accommodate four people comfortably. The bathroom has a lovely, tiled walk-in shower. The high-efficiency AC unit is extremely quiet and will keep you cool in the warmer months. The resort community has great amenities, including a boardwalk to the beach, on-site pool and picnic area—all just steps from the door. If you’d simply like to relax and enjoy the outdoors, you have a private patio with a view of the boardwalk, near the ocean. Come stay and play at our island retreat!

Overall

Had a great relaxing time just to seat on the beach and hear the water is so calming and to put my feet in the sand so relaxing the room was nice and ready for our weekend stay I will be back next year thank you

Overall

Our room was great! The veiw, even though dunes, was great! Our car battery died on us and we called management, they were right over with jumper cables to help us. I highly recomend. We will be staying here again!!

Overall

This is our second time staying at Island Retreat. This was our first time in 126 and it was great. It had everything we could have needed for coffee cooking and eating. It was very clean, had a cute color scheme and it was close to the beach and the rinsing station. There were only 3 of us and it accommodated us very well. I will definitely be booking this room again.

Overall

We were extremely please with the accommodations and the property. Our patio overlooked the the boardwalk leading right to the water. We had a great breeze on the patio which made it very nice sitting there in the evenings sipping on some wine after a day of play on the beach. Will definitely be back in 2021!!

I would have liked an easier process reserving the room. Good thing I called to verify my reservation because I had none even though they took my payment. Brenda took care of it and she was wonderful!
They need to mop the floors, they were super sticky! With paying $100.00 fee for cleaning, floors should be mopped. I feel like I leave the room cleaner than it was when we got there. They should lower the cost if they’re not going to clean it throughly. They should waive the cost for previous guests that leave the room clean.

Overall

Island Retreat 126 is an excellent place to stay for a few days or a few weeks as we did. The boardwalk to the beach is just a few steps away. Port A, is one of our favorite places to visit and this rental topped them all for location and comfort. We enjoyed cruising town in a golf cart, eating like royalty in all the different restaurants . Life in Paradise Vacation Rentals provided excellent customer service. We can't wait for our next visit!

Great location to the beach. Condo had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable, the temperature stayed very cool in the condo which is important to while sleeping at night and the whole place was kept very clean.

This condo had an excellent location and easy beach access. This section of the beach was also less crowded as the three boardwalks in the complex are private. Two things to know if you’re coming here - first, while it is advertised to sleep four, this is a tiny studio and four people (particularly four adults) would be extremely difficult. There’s furniture shoved in every available space so I would not recommend for four people.

Second, be prepared that this condo has the bare minimum. For a four night stay, we were given two rolls of toilet paper. There’s only one thing extra blanket. The kitchen has enough utensils and such but be prepared to bring your cooking oil, any supplies that go beyond a skillet and a pot, etc.

We would definitely go back again but would probably be a little more prepared for a bare bones stay.
