Enjoy the peacefulness of El Cortez on Mustang Island, just three miles south of Port Aransas. This newly remodeled, one-bedroom second-floor condo is nestled within the tropical landscape and offers all of the amenities of a home. With all new furniture, the open living room is made up of a large couch, loveseat, an overstuffed matching leather armchair, a TV, and a sliding glass door to the balcony. The full kitchen is equipped with all things needed to prepare a meal with granite countertops, white cabinets, appliances, a Keurig and drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans, and utensils. Sit down for meals at the dining table with seating for four and three additional stools at the breakfast bar. The master bedroom (BR1) contains a King bed, nightstands, a closet, a dresser, a bench, a corner rocker, and a TV. The ensuite bathroom holds a vanity, tile tub/shower unit, and a stackable washer/dryer for your use during your stay. Just off of the kitchen area is a custom built-in Twin bunk bed, for small children Only. Take in the ocean breeze while sitting out on the balcony with your morning coffee or cold beverage. This complex offers a new golf cart-accessible boardwalk to the beach. After a day of fun at the beach, cool off in the shared pool, or grill up snacks and dinner on the shared grills. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and fishing charters.

Overall

Very clean, well furnished unit. It is spacious and we enjoyed both balconies. The complex is quiet which was nice. A better coffee set up would’ve been appreciated, and a more appointed kitchen. Everything else was fantastic. Easy check in and out.

We loved this place! It was perfect for my family of 3 and my son LOVED the bunk beds. Everything was so clean and better than we expected. We never needed anything but had great communication with the property manager and beach gear rental. The location is great and so convenient to EVERYTHING! The A/C worked great and the property had convenient outdoor shower/wash stations to prevent sand from being in the unit! We will definitely stay there again.

Great condo right next to the community pool and a short walk to the beach. The washer/dryer was a HUGE help! Really appreciated the supply of hand soap, dish washing liquid, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, paper towels! A few suggestions to make it even better: provide more wash cloths (only 2 provided - wasn't even enough for the 3 of us); add a baking sheet for the kitchen; provide a few more pillowcases (extra pillows were available and appreciated - but no extra pillowcases were provided).

Very clean, well decorated for the beach vibes. Master bed was so comfortable we even looked at the brand for our home. We will rent this place again.

Precious Little Family Unit!

This place had everything our family needed. We were concerned it might be too small but it felt so spacious we could have easily fit even more people! The Kids bunk beds were just perfect. It gave them their own little "nook" in the other room while we had our own master. Two different balconies opened it up even more. This will be our new family spot when visiting Port A!

The unit was clean and the beds were sooooo comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have some sort of cleaning product somewhere in the unit. If there is a spill or mishap there is nothing to use to clean up the mess. We had to go out at 12:30 in the morning to try and find a cleaning spray so we could clean up a spill with something other than water. Other than that, the unit was perfect and we did find an issue the response was quick and someone was over within 10 minutes to resolve it.

Overall

The house was beautiful and close to the beach. Only complaints I would have was the mattress. It made sleeping very hard and I'm young so that kinda stuff doesn't bother me normally. Only other thing would be it would be nice if some cleaning basics were provided. Like a broom, sponge, and like dishwasher soap. It is hard leaving the house in spotless condition without that. Other than those minor things we had a great time and really enjoyed our spot
