Barefoot Bungalow is a newly renovated second-floor condo at El Cortez. You will love the open floor plan and spacious living room and bedrooms with ocean-life decor carried throughout. Cable and WiFi are available in the condo with a 50” TV in the living room and 32” in each bedroom, all of which are Amazon Fire TVs ready for you to log in with your account to your favorite streaming apps. Gather everyone in the living room to watch a movie on the large wall-mounted TV while lounging on the couch (which doubles as a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress) or chairs. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals such as spacious countertops, stainless steel appliances, a Keurig and drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. Enjoy meals at the dining table with seating for four and additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. Take your coffee out to the balcony to sip in the ocean breeze. The master bedroom (BR1) consists of a power-adjustable King bed, nightstands, dresser, closet, desk, and futon, a perfect sleeping spot for a child. The en-suite bathroom holds a vanity, tub/shower unit, and stackable washer/dryer for your use during your stay. The guest bedroom (BR2) is made up of a Queen bed, nightstands, chest, and TV. The bathroom contains a vanity and shower. Use the golf cart-accessible boardwalk to spend a day at the beach. Borrow the beach wagon from the unit if you’d like. Cool off in the shared pool or sit under the covered area with shared charcoal grills for cooking up the day's catch. Other amenities at Barefoot Bungalow include: 3+ outlet power strips by each side of both beds, a hairdryer, BBQ utensils, solar stair lights, games, books, and toys. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and fishing charters.

Our stay at the El Cortez villas was relaxing and very welcoming. The home was clean and spacious. The neighborhood was very quiet and the other guests were so friendly. It definitely made our stay a memorable one. The only cause for complaint would be the lack of household supplies available. For example, the coffee pot didn’t have a carafe for the machine and navigating the streaming devices was difficult. There were a lot of different accounts signed into the channel’s. Nevertheless, Despite these slight challenges the home was perfect in its own little way. We anticipate returning to Port A very soon!

This bungalow was the perfect spot! It fit 4 adults comfortably and had all the amenities that we would need. It had a stash of beach toys in the smaller bedroom closet, so the beach wagon was used and very helpful!! This condo is just a short walk to the beach down the boardwalk. I would have loved to leave a note in the guest book in the living room, but it was full and had no empty pages. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking to make a trip to Port A!! The ease of accessing the condo was seamless. We didn't have to wait at any office for a key, it was all done via text...which was so awesome!!

Cute, little bungalow. Very clean, loved the compact washer and dryer that were available in the bungalow. Beds were comfortable and the perfect amount of pillows.
