Enjoy the peacefulness of El Cortez on Mustang Island, just three miles south of Port Aransas. This two-bedroom ground-floor condo is nestled within the tropical landscape and offers all of the amenities of home. The open living room is made up of a loveseat, couch/sleeper sofa, armchair, a TV and a sliding glass door to the back patio. The full kitchen is equipped with all things needed to prepare a meal with Corian countertops, crisp white cabinets and stainless steel appliances, a regular drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. Sit down for meals at the dining table with seating for four and two additional stools at the breakfast bar.  The master bedroom (BR1) contains a King bed, chest for your beach attire, closet and a wall-mounted TV. The en-suite bathroom holds a vanity, tub/shower unit and a stackable washer/dryer for your use during your stay. This room also has private access to the side patio. The guest bedroom (BR2) is made up of a Twin over Full bunk bed, an additional Twin bed, couch, dresser and a TV. The en-suite bathroom consists of a vanity and a tub/ shower. Take in the ocean breeze while sitting out on the covered patio with your morning coffee or cold beverage. This complex offers a new golf cart accessible boardwalk to the beach. After a day of fun at the beach, cool off in the shared pool, just steps away, or grill up snacks and dinner on the shared grills. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife and fishing charters.

This place was great. Check-in and check-out processes were very simple. The place was very clean and sanitized. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook with. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely apartment, clean, modern, and cozy. Perfect for a getaway weekend with everyrhing you need, swiming pool at the front door and close ro the beach are a bonus!!

Condo is renovated, very clean and well appointed. Kitchen has everything you need. Extra toys in closet for the beach. Bedrooms are spacious. Very convenient to beach access. Very clean property. Only downside was the king bed. Terribly hard mattress- like a plank. Not sure how a vacation rental has this in it. Really really needs to be replaced.

El Cortez was beautiful. Check in was smooth and flawless as well as the checkout. We will most certainly return at some point down the road. I have to give kudos to the groundskeeper, Jason as well - the grounds are immaculate.

We booked a last minute trip before school started for my family of 4. We travel to Port A often, and this was one of the best condos that we have ever stayed at. It was so roomy and had everything we needed for a quick getaway. It was so helpful to have the washer and dryer on site. We can’t wait to come back!
