Lost Shaker of Salt is a coastal beach home that offers plenty of perks. There is parking for 2 vehicles or watercraft under the home and room for 2 more vehicles in the driveway. No garage access. Also, the HOA provides an overflow parking lot within 50 feet. There is NO parking allowed on the street.
The covered concrete patio area is perfect for entertaining with a shuffleboard court, combo gas/charcoal grill, large picnic table and outdoor seating. Sip your morning coffee on the large front porch in the ocean breeze or relax in the afternoon shade. Upon entering this home, you are greeted with coastal décor and an open airy feel. The full kitchen is perfect for your culinary needs with stainless steel appliances, a pantry, spacious countertops and stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Savor your meals at the dining table with seating for six. Unwind a catch your favorite sports team or a movie on the wall-mounted TV while sitting on either of two couches or an accent chair. For your viewing pleasure, this home is equipped with Smart TVs, Cable, Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, and Amazon Prime. Enjoy the convenience of the full-size washer and dryer tucked neatly in a hall closet. The bunk room (BR1) has a Twin bunk bed, Twin over Full bunk bed, closet, and wall-mounted TV. The master bedroom (BR2) consists of a King bed, nightstands, closet, and accent chair. The ensuite bathroom is large enough for two people to get ready with double vanities and a tub/shower. The guest room at the end of the hall (BR3) has a Queen bed, nightstands, closet, and wall-mounted TV. The bunk room and guest room share a hall bathroom comprised of a vanity and a large shower with a glass door enclosure.
The gate to the shared pool is about 100 feet away. You can see the community pool from the bedroom window but are still far enough away that the noise should not be a bother. This home is centrally located downtown and has a 15-minute walking distance to the beach.

Overall

We enjoyed our stay at Lost Shaker of Salt. This was our third year at this house. We appreciate the upgrades, especially the new walk in shower in the master bathroom. Also new pots and pans.We also appreciate the quick response from Life in Paradise when we didn't have heat. They were out immediately, assessed the problem and brought heaters to the house until the part could be installed.Lost Shaker of Salt is a very comfortable rental.

Overall

I would give it 5 stars if the kitchen was stocked better. The stove top was in bag shape and all of the pans were pretty nasty. As soon as we arrived there were 5 roaches. Two on the counter tops and they scattered when we turned all the lights on. And 3 appeared in the trash can through the evening. The only other problem was the coyotes. For a pet friendly property, I wish I would have been warned ahead of time. We had one come right up to the house and it stood about 5 feet from us and our dog. We were told by a resident a few houses down that there is a den nearby and one attacked his dog awhile back. Just a heads up about it would have been great. Not the reason I wouldn't rent there again. We had plenty of room and loved the community pool and how close we were to the beach. Thank you!

Overall

We like staying in the Lost Shaker of Salt. Two bonuses to the house is a dehumidifier and a walking shower. This was our second year at this house, booked it again for next year.Owner is working to make improvements. Last year new living room chair and dining table. This winter the exterior was painted.

Overall

We had a beautiful family and friend vacation at this property. We would definitely stay again. Our only issue was that our queen bed in the non-master bedroom would sink in the middle when both my husband and I laid in it. Other than that small detail, everything was clean, well stocked and all amenities were much appreciated.

Overall

We enjoyed our two plus months. The owners were responsive to our needs. Life in Paradise were easy to work with. Highlights of the house are dehumidifier, comfortable master bed, walk in shower and fenced in backyard. We love the neighborhood. We have booked this house for next year.

Overall

We loved staying at Lost Shaker! Such a cute place. Comfy accommodations and the kids loved the double bunk room. It's right around the corner from the pool and the beach is a 2 minute golf cart ride. We also love how close it is to all the fun things Port A has to offer. Downstairs has plenty of parking and great place to grill out and listen to some music after a day at the beach. Bonus, this place has a washer and dryer which is great for drying those beach towels. We will definitely be back!!
