This Awesome 2nd Story House Has All You Need For A Great Vacation in Port Aransas. 2 BR. 2 BA Sleeps 8. There is plenty of parking for 4 cars or 2 cars and a boat/watercraft. The master bedroom (BR1) has a king bed with a TV, a dresser for your beach attire, and an ensuite bathroom with a stand-alone shower. The 2nd bedroom (BR2) has 2 queen beds TV, and storage for clothing. There is a bathroom across the hallway that has a shower/tub combination unit. The full kitchen is equipped with all appliances, cookware, and counter space to meet your cooking needs. The breakfast table has seating for 2 and the bar has 4 stools. Extra large living area for entertaining with a couch, sofa sleeper, TV with cable, and Wi-Fi. The washer & dryer room is located downstairs. No matter what's your pleasure you will find it here. Take a nice swim in the Private pool, and relax in the jacuzzi, The Beautiful yard and mature palms surround this property.

THE HOME WAS AWSOME. OUTDATED FURNITURE IN BEDROOM, PATIO TABLE IN DINING AREA AND LIVING ROOM SOFAS BUT NOT A BIG DEAL. WE HAD FUN. WE AND GRANDBABIES HAD A BLAST WITH GRANDPA/HUSBAND IN POOL AND JACUZZI. LOVED IT!

We loved this house! It had everything we needed to engulf our stay. I didn't have a problem with the grandfather clock chiming as we walked by. It brought back childhood memories. We unloaded the car only to find out there was an elevator. I wish this had been on the amenities list. I would definitely go back.

This rental was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable, efficient. We had 5 kids there so the pool was a nice feature and the house is not cluttered with decorations that I had to worry all the time about my kids breaking. We used the grill every night and just enjoyed the down time.

We recently stayed at Twice as Nice for a week stay in June. I am going to keep this review short as others have already done a good job describing the property.

In summary, this is a nice house located in a good location in Old Town close to everything (groceries, restaurants, beaches, etc).

We liked:

-Location
-Private pool and hot tub
-Washer & dryer
-Being able to rent our golf cart right on location (delivery and pick up at our house)

We didn't like:

-Owner (and rental agency) neglect. For instance, we paid full price on the advertised house and features but:
-> The dishwasher had been broken for a while, with dirty, rotten backed up water, nobody noticed this before letting us check in? We reported this to the office but nothing was done and we all did dishes for the whole week.
-> The dishwasher and other kitchen appliances are OLD and in dire need of upgrading. They look as if they were 30 years old. Not all of the ranges of the stove where in working condition
-> Cleanliness: the house was pretty dirty. We spent at least 2 hours cleaning doritos from under the bed and furniture, at least 2 dead roaches, a filthy shower (we took pictures of the grime, etc). Not blaming the agency 100% as these are signs of owner neglect.
-> The BBQ grill was dirty and full of ashes I had to clean myself so I could use it. I was also overdue for a replacement (full of rust)
-> Having a private pool is nice but as you can see from the pictures, you are swimming next to a corner where there's little privacy. A plant or two would spruce up the experience.

Would we stay here again in the future? Not in the current conditions. We would only stay if I can see evidence of better upkeep and appliances upgrades.

Nice property. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of towels. The stove was old and the burners were barely functioning. The homeowners should replace the stovetop. There was also an old grandfather clock in the kitchen area. Unfortunately it was placed on an uneven ground and so when you walked near it the floor moved and the thing would chime. Funny at first but annoying by day 2 of our visit. The pool was nice to have after a day at the beach and good porch area.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed n twice as nice. We actually rented whole property- 2 apts behind house. We love this place! There were several issues this time at the house. Hopefully the owners will do some maintenance bcuz we hope to stay here again! It is centrally located. Very close to everything. Hot tub is a plus!

House was perfect for us, we enjoyed our stay a great deal and the location was perfect. It was great to have the pool to cool off in. Only complaints were that the door lock was very tricky to get working, and the dishwasher wasn't the best. Will consider this rental again.
