We enjoyed the house. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, & a good size for our family. Only negative was little to no water pressure at kitchen sink & the cold water tap in the upstairs unit was completely off & non functional. Convenient parking & directions easy to follow.
The home location was perfect for privacy with views of sunflowers on the back patio & green space. Easy walk to the beach boardwalk & pool. The proximity to the grill was also convenient & clean.
Staff at guest services in person or every time I called with questions prior to
Arrival was very friendly, attentive & helpful. The ability to quickly text a question & receive a response was very easy & convenient. Thank you for a great vacation.

Thank you for such a thoughtful, detailed review! We're so glad the home felt clean, quiet, and comfortable, and that it was just the right size for your family. Those are the moments we hope every guest gets to enjoy, and hearing it made your vacation special truly means a lot to us.
We loved reading about the little joys that made your stay shine, from the private setting with sunflower views and green space to the easy walk to the beach boardwalk and pool. Knowing the grill was clean and conveniently close, and that parking and directions were simple to follow, tells us everything came together just as we hoped. It's also wonderful to hear our guest services team was friendly and attentive, whether you reached out in person, by phone, or with a quick text. We take pride in being there for you.
Thank you, too, for the honest note about the water pressure at the kitchen sink and the cold water tap upstairs. We're sorry those things fell short during your visit. Please know we would have been happy to get that cold water tap working right away, so we gently encourage you to reach out during any future stay. A quick message lets us assist promptly and keep your getaway as easygoing as it should be.
Thank you for choosing Life in Paradise Vacation Rentals. We'd love to welcome your family back to Port Aransas anytime.

Absolutely loved Sunflower Beach. The house (Resting Beach Face) was fantastic! I am super picky and my only complaint is I wish I would have booked another two days. The house had everything we needed and more. It was super clean, safe and comfortable. I took my older parents and little senior yorkie and it was perfect for everyone. Can’t wait to go back again. All instructions were very clear and the communication by text was so helpful. Thanks for an amazing stay

Resting Beach Face was the perfect beach getaway for my family of 5! The property was absolutely beautiful, very well kept, and clean. The separate upstairs bedroom was a lifesaver during our baby’s nap time and early bedtime. The main unit was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay - including kid safe dishes/utensils. The resort itself was excellent - the staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived after the front office closed on our arrival date and they went out of their way to make sure we had access to our golf cart. All the amenities were very well kept as well - the pool was a huge hit with all of our kids! Absolutely would stay here again!

Dear Amanda,

We aim to create a comfortable and convenient environment for all our guests, and it’s heartening to know that the separate upstairs bedroom made your stay more enjoyable, especially during your baby’s nap times.
We are also delighted that the kid-safe dishes and utensils met your needs, and that the resort staff left a positive impression with their helpfulness and friendliness. It's our mission to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of, even when arriving after hours.
It’s fantastic to hear that the pool was a highlight for your kids and that all the amenities added to your overall experience. We strive to maintain high standards, and it's wonderful that our efforts resonated with you.

The interior design - wow! No expense was spared on making every detail perfect - it has a beautiful design with West Elm and Restoration Hardware vibes, making it feel like a high-end retreat. The attention to detail was impeccable and the amenities provided everything we needed for a cozy and comfortable stay! I especially loved the second bedroom being detached from the main bedroom / living space. The second room / bathroom had its own privacy which makes this place great for multiple couples / families, groups of friends, etc! The indoor fireplace added extra cozy vibes in the evenings, and the large bathtub was perfect for relaxation after a beach day! If you enjoy cooking, this place has a great selection of kitchen gadgets to make the perfect meal… and a Vitamix blender for smoothies and margs :) The frame TVs were also a nice touch! Don’t miss the stunning sunsets in the evening from the private patio space.. perfect views! The other amenities included a large pool with restaurant and bar service, an adult only pool area, and a fully equipped gym. There were also golf carts that were easy and convenient to rent! I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a fun and luxurious getaway. Or for a cozy place to work remote for a week (use their desk / monitor!). Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Thank you so much for your glowing review! We are absolutely delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable and memorable stay with us.
It warms our hearts to know that the interior design and attention to detail exceeded your expectations. We put a lot of thought into crafting a high-end retreat atmosphere, and we're thrilled that the West Elm and Restoration Hardware vibes resonated with you.
We're glad you found the detached second bedroom to be a perfect setup for privacy and comfort, fitting seamlessly for multiple couples, families, or groups of friends. The indoor fireplace and large bathtub are indeed some of our favorite features as well, perfect for those cozy and relaxing moments after a day at the beach.
It's wonderful to hear that you took full advantage of the kitchen gadgets, including the Vitamix blender for those smoothies and margaritas! And we're pleased that the frame TVs added an extra touch to your stay.
The sunsets from the private patio are truly spectacular, and we're happy you enjoyed them. Our goal is to provide an experience that is both luxurious and convenient, so we're delighted that you appreciated the pool areas, gym, and golf cart rentals.
Thank you once again for your kind words and for recommending our cottage. We hope to welcome you back soon for another fun and luxurious getaway, or even for a productive remote work week!

This stay exceeded all expectations! Everything was top notch and looked shiny new! Great stay for our small family. It's kind of nice the second bedroom is accessed via its own entrance, it creates a nice separation for each couple to have their own space. Wish we would have stayed for the weekend, the HOA had many fun activities planned for Easter weekend!
