We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book this property again! The condo was clean, comfortable, and had a great layout for our family with children. The included golf cart was a huge bonus and made getting around so easy and fun.One thing to note is that the unit is on the second floor, so you’ll need to carry luggage and any baby gear up the stairs. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s something future guests should be aware of. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this property for families looking for a relaxing getaway. PS - Barefoot beans for coffee and Port A creamery for ice cream are down the street & easy to get to on the golf cart!

Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so glad the condo's layout, cleanliness, and comfort were a great fit for your family, and that the golf cart made getting around a breeze. We appreciate the helpful note about the stairs too — that's exactly the kind of detail future guests find useful.
We'd love to welcome you all back to Port Aransas soon!

Loved our Stay

This was our second stay at Old Town Cottages, and once again we had a great experience. Last year we stayed in one of the lower-level cottages, and this year we stayed upstairs. While both were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, I will say I preferred the lower-level cottage because there was noticeably less roadway noise. The location is hard to beat—close to everything Port Aransas has to offer while still feeling like a relaxing getaway. The cottages are charming, well-equipped, and make it easy to settle into vacation mode. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. If you're deciding between cottages, my personal recommendation would be a lower-level unit if you're sensitive to traffic noise, but overall Old Town Cottages continues to be one of our favorite places to stay in Port Aransas.

Thank you so much for returning to Old Town Cottages and for sharing such thoughtful words — welcoming you back for a second stay truly means the world to us! We're delighted both cottages felt clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and that their charm and well-stocked details made it easy to slip right into vacation mode.
We also genuinely appreciate your note about the roadway noise and your preference for the lower-level unit. Insights like yours help future guests choose the perfect fit, and we're grateful you shared it. Knowing the location struck that wonderful balance of close to everything yet still relaxing is exactly what we hope every guest discovers here.
It's an honor to remain one of your favorite places in Port Aransas, and it would be an absolute joy to welcome you back again. Thank you for your kindness and your trust!

Very nice.We really enjoyed our trip. However, next time we will rent a unit with no stairs as we are an older couple with an older dog.Unfortunately all downstairs units were rented when we chose to stay.Very nice place though.

Thank you for your kind words! We’re so glad you enjoyed your trip and found the place very nice. We completely understand about the stairs — next time, we’ll be happy to help you find a downstairs unit that’s perfect for you and your pup!  -Life in Paradise Team

I surprised my girlfriend with a weekend getaway to the beach for her birthday and it was awesome! The weather was beautiful but the beach wasn't crowded!! Cruised around town in the cart and just took it easy. This is the good life. I'm so glad we got to celebrate her. Can't wait to go back!

My girlfriend and I took a last minute mid week trip down to Port Aransas and found these cottages online. Good location, comfy bed and plenty of room! We shopped, walked the beach and really enjoyed our time together on the coast. Would recommend to others!!
