Turtleback Beach is a charming coastal Townhome situated in The Commons, adorned with tortoise, surfboard and island décor in calming shades of blue and green. This is a great location to rent one or more units for family reunions, retreats and gathering with friends. There is a large shared pool, hammocks for relaxing, shared charcoal grills, and picnic tables for outdoor cookouts under the shade of a cabana in the center of the units. Each unit has an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand from the beach. Walk straight into the open and inviting living area made up of a love seat, a couch (which doubles as a Queen sleeper sofa) with plush pillows and two matching armchairs sit before a flat-screen TV. Beside the living room, there’s plenty of space to enjoy dinner at the large wooden dining table with seating for eight and three additional stools at the breakfast bar. A convenient half bath serves this floor. Overlooking the dining area is a full kitchen equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. From here, hardwood stairs lead up to the second level to find three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A master bedroom sits at the top of the stairs (BR1) furnished with a Queen-size bed, nightstands, a closet, a dresser for your beach attire, and wall-mounted TV. The en-suite bathroom contains a granite vanity and a tile tub/shower. Perfect for kids, a second bedroom (BR3) consists a set of Full over Full bunk beds and a wall-mounted TV for movies or cartoons. Just next door, everyone can freshen up in a shared hallway bathroom with a coastal theme vanity and a tiled stand-up shower. At the end of the upstairs hallway, a bright third bedroom (BR2) is appointed with a Queen-size bed, nightstands, a closet and a wall-mounted TV. The full-size stackable washer and dryer are tucked neatly away in the upstairs hall closet. Approximately 0.5 miles to the beach, 0.8 miles to restaurants, shops and nightlife. You deserve to get away from it all, book today!

We did enjoy our stay! There was a few things that went wrong with our condo but they got everything fixed in a timely manner for the most part. We stay in these condos every summer multiple times. We will be back again in July !!

Our family has been to Port Aransas dozens of times, and this townhome was an exceptional rental value! Everything was perfect in #407, the furnishings were nice, and the kitchen was better stocked than my own kitchen. We had a great time and hope to return soon.

The townhome was so pretty and clean and well supplied. All we had to provide was food and the fun. Rules for the pool weren't inforced well which lead to a late night party that was loud. But honestly we could barely hear them indoors anyway. Hands down would recommend this establishment for families. Its clean, close to the beach, close to the fun, we will be back.

Décor was charming but otherwise an average stay. Main areas were cleaned ok but main floors could have used another wash and floor edges, underneath and behind furniture was quite dirty. Kitchen was well stocked but a disorganized mess. Communal pool water was not clean and most neighbors completely disregarded curfew for pool use and loud music. Condo looks a few blocks away from the beach on a map but closest public beach access is actually a long, hot walk (20+ minute - you should budget for cart rental). When we arrived, one room had a broken overhead light and none of the 4 cable boxes/TVs were working correctly despite resetting and troubleshooting on our part. Management declined to help, other than dropping off batteries for the remote, so we did not have working TVs for the entire week. Finally, management made no attempt to offer recycling although there is a transfer depot a few blocks away from their office. Overall, we were disappointed with this rental and its management.

This was a clean townhouse. They had all the cooking accessories that I needed. The floors, kitchen, bathrooms, and bathrooms were all spotless. If I had to be really nit picky, the shower curtains were the only things that I didn’t like, they had a red, dirty film on the bottom. Close drive to the beach which was beautiful.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The condo was loaded with any kind of appliance or utensil you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and the property was very clean. The only drawback from our perspective is the lack of privacy. The inner courtyard that houses the pool could tend to get a little crowded at night with everyone’s festivities. But, it never got too loud and was quiet during sleeping hours.

Our stay was very pleasant! We had everything we needed. Place stayed very cool both downstairs and upstairs. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was very well equipped. It was absolutely perfect for our family vacation because kids could swim or scooter around freely. If I had to say one negative, it would be the swimming pool. It wasn’t cool and it was dirty. There was also no shade at all. Other than that, it was great and very close to the beach! The management was also very on top of things and super nice!

We are a family of 4. House is very new and we loved the wood look and decorations. It was very clean and basically brand new. Good privacy with the bedrooms upstairs. I really can't find anything negative to say about this place.

It's a shared pool but we were the only people swimming that weekend.

The house was great!
The only complaint was the refrigerator and freezer smelled like fish!
We went and purchased some Arm and Hammer Fridge freshners, that helped some but our produce still contained the fish smell!!

Port Aransas Memorial Holiday Weekend

The #704 The Commons is perfect. We arrived to a cool home that was sparkling clean and is in New Condition. Everything works. I do all the cooking and I bring my own utensils as most supply not much. This place had everything and it was all quality stuff. I was able to easily prepare all meals for 8 people saving us a fortune eating out. Every Bedroom came with an appropriate size Flat Screen TV including the big 55\" at least in the living room. all rooms had Direct TV with Record Feature so I was able to record Fox News and skip through the commercials just like at home. The finish out is awesome wood walls and ceilings downstairs and stained concrete for easy cleaning. the furniture is so comfortable and equals what you would put in your own home not cheap nice quality. The Dinner table easily seats 8 people and the serving bar accommodates more. The coffee table can be used for TV dining and in it you will find games if your taking a break from the sun. The HVAC system does a great job cooling you down at night for a comfortable nights sleep. The beds are very firm and comfortable not cheap Mattresses. You can't go wrong with this unit. You will find it is a little far to walk to the beach carrying a cooler so you will want to get a parking pass and shuttle back and forth or rent a golf buggy. The beach road is a Texas Highway and they will give you DUI if you are out of control. but if you drive 15 MPH stay in your lane don't drive on the swim part of the beach they are not looking to take you to jail they want your business so stay in control. From the unit to the beach area about 3/4 of a mile on the road. The only thing missing was a BLENDER for making frozen Margaritas. I almost think that it either broke or possibly became a souvenir because they thought of most everything. You will need paper towels and toilet paper there is enough to get you started. Ice Maker is a little slow so bring 5 lbs for the freezer
