Poco Loco has recently been updated with new bathroom showers, fresh paint, furniture and stylish coastal décor carried throughout. You are greeted by a fun orange door and a patio seating area that welcomes you inside to the open living room which boasts a large plush sectional seating with matching accent chairs, made for relaxing and watching movies on the wall-mounted TV with cable and Wi-Fi. This area also accommodates a place to play a competitive game of shuffleboard. The large wood and glass dining table provides seating for six consisting of four chairs and a bench. Extra seating is available for four at the breakfast bar. The full kitchen is equipped with black and stainless steel appliances, Corian countertops, tile backsplash, drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils to meet your cooking needs. There is also a half bath under the stairwell to serve the first floor. Upstairs past the modern cable railing, you will come to the master bedroom (BR1) consisting of a Queen size bed with under storage, closet, nightstands, bench, wall-mounted TV and roman shades for privacy. The en-suite bathroom is made up of a vanity and a tile walk-in shower with dual rain heads. The kids will love the second bedroom (BR2) which contains a set of custom-built Full over Full bunk beds, a wall-mounted TV and a heavy sliding wood door to block out any noises. The last guest bedroom (BR3) features a Queen bed with under-storage, closet, nightstands and a wall-mounted TV. The two guest rooms share a hall bathroom which includes a vanity a tile shower. For your convenience, the washer/dryer unit is tucked neatly in the hall closet upstairs next to the hall bathroom for use during your stay. The Commons at Seashell is a great spot for renting one unit for up to 8 people or multiple units for up to 90 people for family reunions, retreats, and gatherings of friends. There is a large shared pool, hammocks for relaxing, picnic tables and shared charcoal grills for outdoor cookouts under the shade of a cabana in the center of the units. Each unit has an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day of playing in the sand. Approximately 0.5 miles to the beach, 0.8 miles to restaurants, shops and nightlife. We loved our stay at Poco Loco! This was a great property for our family with two young kids. The beds were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels, soaps, and even a step stool in the second full bath which let our oldest use the sink without help (a nice bonus)! The house was clean and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen. Check in and out procedures were simple and painless. We enjoyed the shuffleboard table downstairs after returning home for the evening. Beach proximity was excellent, just a quick and easy walk down the street. We appreciated that there was an outside shower for rinsing ourselves and our kids beach toys off when we were done playing for the day. Overall, the property was better than we expected (and we expected it to be nice already). Our kids didn't want to leave, and asked when we could come back. It was a great experience with Port A and Life in Paradise.

Excellent accommodations for our beach stay. Well furnished and stocked for our family of 4 young girls. Has a spigot/shower outside to wash off sand. The pool is 15 feet from the front door. It was refreshing to cool off after a long day at the beach. The rooms were comfortable and in good repair. No complaints. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.

We stayed 3 nights and this place was clean and comfy and had all the necessary items as stated. We called about a few things and they were quick to respond.The location was close to restaurants and shops and .5 mile to the beach. Highly recommend.

This home was perfect for our beach stay! Very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Close to the beach ,grocery store and many dining options. We had six people and there was plenty of room. We loved the shuffleboard table and the patio. We cooked meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed. We will stay here again in the future!!

We were VERY pleased with this unit at The Commons. It was laid out perfect and took advantage of its size to really accommodate us well. The owners obviously out a lot of thought and creativity into the furnishings and decor and it has a SUPER beach cottage feel. Only two caveats to be aware of...the pool is small and it and the common courtyard gets used consistently and is not only crowded but makes for some continual ongoing noise...well into the night and early morning hours! Bring a sound machine to help drown the noise so you sleep well if you're in the master bedroom which faces the courtyard pool area. Also parking does NOT seem to be enforced and is limited...gets packed at night when guests have visitors over I guess. Frustrating at times.

Great Port A Stay

This was a great townhouse to rent. Great location, close to the beach and a clean pool.The decorations were so cute! The only downside the shower curtains were pretty dirty, they should be replaced. Some of the bedding was stained as well, and the upstairs bathroom sink drained extremely slowly. Other than that our stay was great.

Our rental was adorable on the inside and clean. It was perfect for us. Everyone slept well. We loved the shuffle board! We were glad to have a golf cart to get to the beach and run around. The first night, there were some very loud guests in the common/pool area after 10 pm. When we emailed management, they responded immediately. Good stay!

The unit is just as described and has a well equipped kitchen. Small soap and shampoo in the bathrooms is a nice touch for those who may forget those items! The pool was a bit cloudy but it was otherwise very clean. It seemed to get a lot of use and The Commons is only partially finished. With all units facing each other in a square with the pool and grill area in the center and no other outside area, evening and nights got pretty loud. For families with small children like us it made it hard at bedtime. The neighboring condos have a pool directly behind as well. Sebastian at Life in Paradise was very friendly and helpful. Clean and nicely furnished. Worked well for us.

Had a great time. Only thing we found wrong was the neighbors where up till 3am every night. The noise was horrible. They need an onsite manager to stop this. The only other thing was the beds where not the best comfort but all else was perfect.

Our company rented 10 units at The Commons from Life In Paradise and the condos were perfect for our group of 30 people. Most of our group were men and we made sure that we had a maximum of 3 people in each unit even though most units slept 9 - 10

We love this this Island. Great shops, restaurants, great beach. This is the second time we have stayed at the Commons and we loved it. Lots of space, pool is great. We used the grills. We will go back.

Owners provided everything for all our needs. would only recommend the unit owners consider some form of pool heating or a solar cover may be enough to heat and maintain heat so the pool could be used by your \"Winter Texans\". This would make the units more attractive to renters.

Perfect Beach Adventure

I selected this location based on good reviews and the pictures which show a cute brightly colored beach townhouse, but I was nervous because we all know that pictures and reviews can be deceiving. I booked for a friend trip and was honestly nervous I was going to get blamed for renting a dud, a place not close enough to the beach. I shouldn't have been nervous at all! My friends and i were so impressed by this place! It is adorable, the decorations inside are updated and cute - no old floral couches here! The space really has been beautifully done. As for distance from the beach, it's walking distance, but more importantly golf cart distance (definitely rent one).

The house was clean, and the cable worked, there are puzzles for those rainy beach days, and the beds are comfy. The shower in our unit did leak a little down onto the first floor, but the landlord was quick to answer the phone anytime she had a problem or question.

Stay here!! You will not regret it!
Also, did I mention the amazing peaceful hammocks?

We stayed five days at the Commons and enjoyed every minute. The condo was well maintained and extremely comfortable for 6 people, two adults and four teenage girls. The pool was clean and a great option when we were not at the beach. The beach was a short walk across the street and a short drive from Access Rd 1.

We had an amazing time!! We met a bunch of great people. It is very much of a \"neighborhood\" community. Be prepared to share your time with others. One block from the beach and close to all the amenities (grocery,shopping, etc.) Do bring extra toilet paper and paper towels as there were only one set for each bathroom. We enjoyed our stay at the Commons. The condo was very comfortable and well appointed. Kitchen had everything you could need. Only suggestion would be to have condo owners consider to install solar heater on pool since very few condos do, and it would make them more marketable, at little cost.
