This charming duplex sits in a quiet area of town that is golf cart accessible and has plenty of room to enjoy your vacation with an open floor plan. The full kitchen is stocked with cookware and utensils and has an island for an extra prep area. The dining table has seating for 6. The living area has a large sectional for guests, TV, cable, and Wi-Fi. (BR1) has a Queen bed, TV, and storage for your beach attire. The bathroom is in the hallway and has a shower/tub combination unit. (BR2) has a Twin over Full bunk bed, TV storage for clothing with a private ensuite bathroom that has a shower only, no tub. The laundry room is on the ground level and has a washer, dryer, and utility sink. It has a great Patio area with outdoor seating to enjoy time outside while you cook on the gas grill. Sip coffee from the front balcony and enjoy the bay breeze. You can catch glimpses of the ships going through the channel from the road. Plenty of parking for a boat. Across the street is the city pool and dog park. Down the road is the Nature Preserve.  You are a minute's drive from shops and restaurants and about a mile to the beach.  Bring the boat and pets and enjoy Port A.

Neighbor that lives next door is very friendly and accommodating. My drill broke and he let me use his tools to take my Jeep doors off and put them back on. He also provided me a safe place to store them. He let us use his ice machine whenever we wanted. The house has a nice front deck area and a large open area in the back due to the vacant lot right behind it. It can be a little tricky to find at first just look for the road that splits and just do not go to the RV park. It is not far from the ferry and you will need to drive to get to the beach. Has a nice area under to hang out with a table and chairs. The washer and dryer are in a room downstairs as well.

Bathroom floor was dirty, the Fossett was hard to turn on in the sink in the bathroom Other than that everything went really well. We had very friendly neighbors. We enjoyed our stay

Weekend trip to Port Aransas

Check in was remote and entry to the property was easy. The property was very clean. Our stay in the property was overall a good one. There were a few issues we had to deal with. On entry one of the toilets wouldn’t flush we called management who assured us someone would come by to remedy the situation. No one ever showed up. We finally after several attempts before and after contacting management got the toilet to flow again. The only other issue were the the shower heads. They were dated and flow was sporadic. One shower head just had a single stream of water no shower at all. Everyone I suppose has a different form of cable service than provided. It would have been nice to have the channel program for this unit to maneuver through the channels as we were unfamiliar with this one. Couple of other minor issues; the queen bed made a lot of noise when you sat and/ or slept on it and the microwave was un plugged. It took us a few minutes to realize this and then figure out where it could be plugged in. The space was roomy and comfortable. The bath towels were soft and plenty were provided. With new shower heads I would return to this property.

We stayed 4 nights at the Southern Comfort house. It was a good location to the ramps since we were there for fishing. Lots of space for the four of us and we were thankful for the games at the house since Hurricane Hanna hit and we couldn’t go out our last day and night. Even with no electricity we made the best of it. Would definitely stay here again!!!

The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. A big plus was the under cover parking for my boat. The location was great, for a fisherman, close to the Markets a and boat launch, cleaning was also close to the mIn grocery store, souvenir shops, pharmacy, and several eateries. I will book this house for future trips.

Port A Southern Comfort Rental

The staff at check in were friendly and informative. The rental was clean with a open concept living area and kitchen/dining. The 2 bathrooms were spacious with nice fluffy bright white towels. The unit allows pets, but, the outside area is not pet friendly. The rental does not have grass, it is rocks and stickers. The washer and dryer downstairs in a laundry room were a great plus. The only negative thing was the Queen bed in the master bedroom and top bunk of the twin/full bunk bed in the second bedroom were so uncomfortable we had to sleep on the couch in the recliners with a child between us. My husband described the bed was like trying to sleep on a tarp. The rental is close to the community pool and dog park. There is a long term renter in the adjoining duplex that will watch your every move, she is protective of the property because of someone that used to live there.

My rental was for a month long stay in Port Aransas. I found the unit to be quiet accommodating for me and my guest. The neighbors are friendly as well.

With all of the new construction on the island it was nice to have a place that is boat friendly.

I would say the overall stay was enjoyable.
The property was clean.
The management was very attentative and quick to respond.
The property was a five minute drive to the beach so pretty close.
There were no trash bags, but this was an easy fix.
Some of the locks would stick and some of the door handles didn't work at all, however it isn't a deal breaker considering the overall property being priced decently and in good condition.

Generally very satisfied with experience. Place could have been cleaner, however. Closets were dirty, with clothing tags from previous occupants swept in corner. Everything else was excellent. Will definitely use this management company again.

Exterior and interior of condo were great. When we opened
the door and first saw the condo, we were impressed. It has an open floor plan and is decorated well. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are decorated well and comfortable. The only negative comments I could add were that there is a sewage odor from the eb park in front of the condo first thing in the morning and the ceiling fan in the bedroom with teleo
Single beds is kind of loud.
